    After looking for a folding Ebike to go in the campervan I was lucky enough to be asked to review the DYU A1F.
    I tested it's range on both throttle and pedal assist and was let surprised by the results.

    How many ebikes do you have now ?😂 How far does it go on a charge ? They obviously have concerns of it being dangerous for catching fire to not recommend keeping inside.

      Running total so far
      Vanpowers swapped for Bendy Wendy this year's charity moped
      Hovsco and Engwe E26 swapped for next year charity Moped she is a beaut.
      Isinwheel was gifted to a fellow youtuber
      Engwe p275 Given to my wife
      This one may be sold and money put aside for fuel on this years charity ride.
      I'm squeezing in a few reviews before the trip to fund it so bare with me.
      Long story short I don't have an ebike pmsl

      @@Nobby77 fair play on the charity work mate. Good to see these reviews. Something different to just camping.

      Cheers dude, the last bike tour cost a fortune so trying not get killed by the wife this time. Might as well let sponsors pay. Ebikes are not a bad thing to test either as if the right one comes along I can use it for camps.

    That's very impressive Not being rude your Big guy , and it ran lovely From such a Small battery that range is very Good and 16" Wheels make a diffrance my first Bike was a 14" inch Wheels and 250 Watt motor Single Drive like yours and it was super Relible 162 Wheels make a big diffrance to stablization as you Say And Suspetion Seat Post would be the way to go Great Video as a First Bike fantastic or just City Run a Round

      yeah it is a great little bike if you are not in a hurry lol. I've just tried the engwe P20 which was another great bike, larger wheels and more torque.

    Nice one bagging that one Lee, I’ve got myself a Brompton last year hoping to use it on summer camps. That will be ideal for campervan just need one for the boss now lol . Think I would stick a bell on as folk might think your on a moped using the horn 😂

    Lovely job thx. Ebikes are great but that one isn't a great ebike. I've got one like it but way better, 48v 20ah battery @12A = 600W. It goes like a stabbed rat. Useless to pedal too:) Great things everyone should have one!

      Could defo do with more speed from the pedals, got it's place tho and a budget friendly option. Hopefully they up the motor size over here soon

      Yep for a cheapo it's fine. Mine had been bashed at the axle where the wires go thru and was temperamental thus £150! I learned a lot about wiring on ebikes, like start from scratch!!

    It seems to tick the boxes for a little commuter bike, no frills or thrills just simple A to B.

    It carried 90 kilograms....yeah on a good day after a big dump. 😆 All these bikes are feasible but what worries me is the ever increasing number of arseholes on the road. Dave the scaffolder hates any cyclists, 85 year old Doris hasn't used a wing mirror for the last 40 years, 20 year old Jezebel drives whilst texting Chad and applying makeup all at the same time. I've never used an EV bike. One day I might hire one to go up the cycle path to the Star Inn for a pint and back just for the experience of using the controls.

      The passes do seem to be getting ever closer. I rode one straight up culver with one hand on the bars and got to the top without a touch of heavy breathing

    Not even for £4.59 😂.
    Them little wheels take about 100 revolutions to go ten yards and the folding parts tend to bugger up with time.
    I had one and felt like a nonce on it. 🤣

    I would immediately say no, I'd also add it's cheap 'e bikes' like this that cause all the battery fire issues. I'm guessing they're all cheap from China?

    • @Nobby77
      @Nobby77  2 месяца назад +2

      No doubt they come from china as everything does, DYU are a Dutch company so I would imagine they are under EU regs

      Don't knock Chinese ebikes. I got one and it's an absolute beast, and built like a tank. Had it for 2years now, and haven't had any problems with it. You won't find better bang for buck with a Chinese import.

    • @noodles169
      @noodles169 2 месяца назад

      @@Nobby77you are correct. Any ebike is full of parts from China, no matter where you buy your ebike from. I buy my ebikes direct from China. And the savings you make are incredible, compared to buying an ebike from the UK, which is basically a £marked£ up rebranded Chinese ebike anyway

    • @Nobby77
      @Nobby77  2 месяца назад

      @noodles169 china does have a hand in everything we touch, wish it wasn't the case but it is. Standards are improving but Robert isn't wrong about some of the kit coming out of there. So far every bike I've tried has been offered good quality
